Meh

so-so

Finally finished this chunkster after 5 1/2 months. It was a real slog. I was determined to read it. I enjoyed the science parts but not so much the fiction parts. It could have easily been 200 pages less and been all the better for it. My least favorite of Michener's books I have read. 3āļø¸

Deblovestoread Congrats! Finishing a Michener deserves an award. Centennial is my favorite but also loved The Drifters and Chesapeake. I have several on my shelf to get to one day. 1y

EadieB @Karons1 I read The Story of Edgar Sawtelle about 2010. If you love dogs then you will like it. I enjoyed it but the ending is very sad. 3y
