Well this is fun news! A new Sally Rooney novel coming out! 🤩
Learning Dangerously is from my secondary library, about homeschooling. I try to read at least one every summer, to refresh my approach. Nora was #BookMail on Monday; it‘s my first reward from the Penguin Random House Reader Rewards. Hope it‘s good!
I‘m pretty happy with how 2022 went, but this year I want to read more nonfiction. I‘ve started making tbr lists for the season/holiday and adding books that give me the right vibe for each list. I want to keep up with this and read more from each list. I also plan to do more book journaling. I need to catch up in my personal life with things like #LitsyLove and re-exploring my hobbies. I love my new B&N job! Thanks everyone for the well-wishes!

Today‘s #30daysofreadathon prompt is #new and I‘m not sure what they want to know. I feel judged because I‘m pretty sure they knew - weeks ago - that I‘d order from Book Outlet after months of being good! They haven‘t arrived yet so I‘ll have to wait until they make it into my hot little hands to show them off.

pickCresswell‘s The New Book is a veritable potpourri of personal musings. There are book reviews, short stories, journal entries. This is a fantastic example of writing shorts of any kind. Each was equally engaging and entertaining. While I enjoyed all of the offerings within, my favourite were the journal entries, where the author tells of her adventures managing holiday cottages in Cumbria.
