Fun little Halloween-y book. I loved the setting and the story was cute. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was a light, fun book. Set in a town where it is Halloween everyday. That way the vampires, werewolf‘s etc., can kind of be out in the open but still hidden to the normal people.
Delaney is running from the mob after seeing her boss kill someone. She ends up in Georgia after stealing someone‘s folder for a mail order bride system.
It‘s silly but it was a fun romance. I‘ll definitely continue this series. #serieslove2023
I‘m pretty sure I‘ve said it before but I‘ll say it 100 more times, I love this book/series and it gets me out of a slump 100% of the time! It makes me laugh and gives me the warm and fuzzies! Highly recommend. All books and novelas are on KU now!!
Thank you everyone for the well wishes for my son, he has fully recovered and is feeling just fine. He has since given it to me and with two auto immunes I‘m feeling like junk and just can‘t kick it. I‘ve been trying to work as much as I can, I work from home, but mostly it‘s been sleeping or dazing while the tv is on. I‘m going to try a reread of one of my favorite series, and catch up on some new ones. I hope you all have a beautiful week!!
This was a cute and funny romance - not my normal cup of tea, but the vampires helped 😊 +416 #Scarathlon2021 #TeamHendrix #Spookoween #screamathon #littenlisten #bookspinbingo #readlikehellathon #murdertheyreadathon #trickortreatathon #disneyvillianreadathon #vampathon #readwithus
Deeply doofy but good natured. I did find the most compelling thing about it the Halloween tourist trap town, which miiiiiiiight be the form my soul takes.
Weird amount of victim blaming a lady who died while getting turned into a vampire! Weird!
Laat pages of this book got me thinking: does anyone have any recommendations for stories with fat vampires? Where they're not disgusting, just fat vamps leading their undead lives.
Me while I was finishing this book and my husband wants to talk about the move tomorrow! 😂
This was my third time through this book and I loved it just as much as I did the first time! It‘s an easy ready that just makes you smile! And giggle! On to book two, because sleep is for non-readers!!
Quick! Everyone pick up your book and pretend tomorrow isn‘t Monday!!
I haven‘t been able to enjoy anything #maythefourth related. We‘ve finally gotten just about everything packed up and ready for the move on Wednesday and I am exhausted. So tonight I‘m watching Live PD and Re-Reading this lovely series until my mind fully turns to mush and I pass out for the next 12 hours!!
All of these books/series always make me #laugh !! Highly recommend them all!! #SpringIntoReading @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @vkois88
I wanted a light read that I could enjoy and buzz through. I got it with this book. Loved the characters and setting. Good story with a touch of romance. ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Fizzy and frothy. A light romance with a surprisingly self-assured heroine. Just have a box of chocolates nearby, 'cause she's a baker. Also, there needs to be a rating between pick and so-so. Call this 2 1/2 stars instead of 3. #paranormalromance
My current read wasn't catching my attention so I decided to re read this quick easy lovely book. And hopefully @Liberty will choose me for the #WEEKENDGIVEAWAY and I will find a new favorite!!
My favorite #indigenousauthors of FL is Kristen Painter, she writes these fun, loving, wonderful books. I totally #recommendsday them!! #junebookbugs @RealLifeReading
Delaney runs away from her murderous mobster boss and pretends to be a mail order bride, not realizing her "husband-to-be" is a vampire! This is cheesy, paranormal romance fluff! There are times when it would be a bit much for me, but luckily, this was exactly what I needed right now: to just forget everything happening in reality for a little while and to fill the V on my #LitsyAtoZ list. Painter will definitely be on my list when I need a break!
#riotgrams Pink Cover. To me honest this is getting difficult. #17booklove has a pink cover day as well in a couple days. I don't own a lot of pink cover books and they ones I do are on kindle.
I love when authors give us short stories to fill in the gaps between books or to catch up with side characters or whatever it may be about. These are some of my favorites!! #booktober #shortstories @RealLifeReading
Cute story. With it being a romance novel I'm surprised if wasn't more (*cough*) descriptive. So if you are looking for that you are out of luck. It really is a cute story and I want to read the next one in the series.
The speed at which things happen takes a few points, but I cant wait to read the others.
A quick, light read. The romantic entanglement arises quite quickly, but the author makes a reasonable job of selling it. I'd certainly keep an eye out for the second book.
My #favereadsofaugust finding this local and fabulous author and her up beat, fun and addicting series!! #septemberphotochallenge @RealLifeReading
Very cute fantasy rom lit. The rom part was a bit trite: rich handsome guy and quick romance; but some good details and a female character more interesting than average, with a few good zingers. Giving it ⭐️⭐️⭐️ but filing it as Pick because I wanted a fun beach read and it really fit the bill 😉
Having grown up in a small town on an island, this is a very familiar feeling 😬
'Cause sometimes you just need a light read 😊
That said, so far this is not nearly as lame as the cover and title suggest — kind of fun, actually 😸
This is a sweet, light hearted romance that has very little drama. It's one of the first true fluff books I've ever read in the paranormal/urban fantasy genre. I absolutely loved this book and will definitely be reading the rest in the series.
I read the first book in the Nocturne Falls series, The Vampire's Mail Order Bride for free on my Kindle. I loved it so much I purchased the physical book and the other books in the series!
