pickA fabulous read! This is a fast-paced murder mystery/ vampire story/ gothic tale. I loved the pop culture references and the snarky one-liners. The book was dark, funny, suspenseful, the characters multi-dimensional and riveting. The only minor fault I could mention were the numerous typos that unfortunately seem to have been overlooked during the editing process. However, this didn‘t detract from a great reading experience. Highly recommended!

pickCrazy book full of snarky, smart humor. I enjoyed reading about Phoebe Harkness and Allesandro. I even sorta liked Cloves. If you enjoy paranormal mystery with a spunky, snarky heroine, this book is for you. Warning: graphic gore and language, but it fits the genre.

pickYou guys! This book was SO good!! The opening chapter was brilliant - hooked me right in - and kept me that way right through. I found it surprisingly refreshing to read a vampire story where romance wasn't the central theme. Phoebe Harkness is witty, strong and extremely likeable. Fast moving plot, and fantastic world-building. Very impressed, I'm excited to read more from this author.
Read Book 1 and 2 in a week! Loved it and can't wait for the next one. Dark and funny and intelligent.
pickLoved this series. It became my vampire blood. This series is far more than vampires and werewolves, it provides a commentary of societal issues and questions who the real monsters in this world actually are. The book also has so much humour, I had a real love for Cloves by the end!
