This is the third full book in this series and my favorite. I didn‘t know that I was going to love Julian and Courtenay so much after their appearances in the last book. Found family is a theme through each of the books, but Sebastian really pulls it all together in this one and I love that. This one was my favorite of the three Turner novels, which is saying a lot. I mean, seriously great characters, tight plot, lots of ups and downs and some very sexy scenes! Cat Sebastian has made me a M/M romance fan! If you like Regency romance, this one was especially heavy on the etiquette and snide conniving I love about the genre. (I don‘t know why I love a well-mannered insultfest, but god I do!) Do recommend. #romantsy 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I adore Cat Sebastian novels, and this is by far my favorite. Not only does it hold all of her trademarks: well written story, nicely fleshed out characters, steamy sex scenes to heat up the coldest of souls; it also had characters that I could relate too, finding bits of myself in both gentleman. And isn't that just the Hallmark of a good book?

Top notch romance, the way these kind of novels should be.

This budding couple absolutely tickles me pink! More than the other two books in the series, even! I have actually snort laughed at their antics and interactions. So damn cute.

This part of the series is on sale as a Kindle ebook for $2.99, I bought it last year but I haven‘t read it yet. I‘m not sure where it shows up in the series but I‘ve seen it come up on a number of must-read lists. I thought there might be some fellow m|m romance readers in Litsy who would be interested.

Hoo! Well that was a pretty great m/m #romantsy story! I think it‘s my favorite of the three in this series! Courtney is sweet, much sweeter than I had expected after his sullen appearance in The Lawrence Brown Affair. And Julian is acerbic and compelling despite himself. I found myself rooting for them both, rolling my eyes, snickering, and figuratively fanning my face by turns. So, basically, I really enjoyed this book!

I love how Cat Sebastian's characters are always so very willing to look past their first impressions and adapt their mindsets so their relationship can succeed. There's heaps of pure affection here. It's glorious.

This one hit me especially hard as one of the lovers thinks he doesn't deserve happiness, and because there's a decent bit about family and support systems--some of my favourite tropes. I can't wait to see what Sebastian does next.

This morning I woke up to snow, swore a lot, and went back to bed.

A lot of it was gone by the time I got up again, but everything's still wet and gloomy so I'm gonna spend a good chunk of my day with some bisexual historical romance. A lovely guilty pleasure.

Cat Sebastian is the actual best. Not only does she write amazing romance novels (and M/M at that!), her chronic illness rep (for both mental and physical illnesses) is on point. She's a must-buy for me. This one deals with Lord Courtenay, the ne'er-do-well uncle who shows up at the end of "The Lawrence Browne Affair," and Julian Medlock, whose sister also appears in the previous book. If you like romance, this is a must read.

#blameitonLitsy and the Get Booked podcast are the reason for my purchase of this #romantsy ebook. ( on sale at the iBook store) A fun Regency,Mr. Medlock is a buttoned up , social climber and Lord Courtenay is a handsome rake. There's 🔥 and there's ❤️. If I hadn't needed to sleep I would have read it on one sitting.

An excellent installment in this series. It's also very different because so much of the conflict with this couple is internal rather than external (no one's sneaking about investigating blackmail, no one's hiding out from murderous criminals) and very rooted how one behaves in Society. Medlock and Courtnay make a compelling couple, the straight-laced social climber and the reckless hedonist. Plus cats.

I went for a run, so now I get to enjoy the rest of my day with beautiful gay Regency.

Yesssss new Cat Sebastian! It's been a while since I was this excited for a new release. Hope this is as good as her others. 💕
