This started out so-so but it really grew on me as it went along. Gwenpool is one of us! A girl who loves comics that got sucked into the Marvel universe. I‘m looking forward to reading the rest of the series. 4⭐️

I am super excited about the stack I got from the library yesterday! I can‘t wait to read Gwenpool and Paper Girls. I also got Jace‘s first library books. Is it super weird to read a kid version of Jane Eyre to a baby boy? 🤔🤷🏻‍♀️🤣

Fun story, fun characters, fun time! The art is inconsistent, but still well worth the read for anyone looking for an action packed and darkly funny comic. Already put volume 2 on hold at the library.

I think Ronnie is my favorite 😂

Also, love the superhero costume shop. Like Edna in The Incredibles.

Mostly charming, though I think the zany tone and pace really needs to be moderated by genuine emotion. The Doctor Strange issue works when few others do in part because it grounds the comedy a bit. More fish out of water hijinks for me, less madcap quirk. Still, love the art and dig the vibe overall.

Fun idea for a comic character. Not blown away but it was still a fun wee read ⭐⭐⭐

I found Gwenpool to be a little annoying. There are some interesting characters besides her, otherwise she goes around causing trouble. They also don't do a backstory which could have made this better.

Taking a break from my regular books to dive into some Gwenpool graphic novels. 💕

Okay I am officially a Gwenpool fan. The first volume of comics was a fun darkly funny romp while also showing the issues of living in a comic book universe. Gwen also has the potential to be a complex character, I hope to see more of her development in the next volume.

Spending a much needed evening of watching TV and reading comics during the commercials and I just want it to be known that if Thor makes an appearance in your comic that will always make me like it even more. ⚡️⚡️

At first I wasn't sure if I'd like Gwenpool but it's a fun read so far.

What is she up to and how does it all end?!

We are all just chilling out now after our first barbecue of the year. Our neighbors and their kids came over so there was a lot of giggling and running around. And now it is reading time - or for the 3yo usurping my comic and looking at the pictures.

I enjoyed this so much more than I expected! I Love Deadpool and the concept of Gwenpool sounded cool, but I wasn't overly impressed with Spider-Gwen so I didn't get my hopes up too high. It was great, though, and I'm now the proud owner of this Gwenpool pop and a cool tee.

This was a really fun short collection of Gwenpool as she appeared in other comics. It was witty and quick and fun.

This first volume was fun, full of breaking of the fourth wall and silly one liners. It was what I had expected when I picked it up. But towards the end it took an unexpected turn for a little while, and briefly dealt with Gwen's existence in this comic book world vs. the real world where she comes from. It was a welcome surprise that brought more depth to the book, and while I also had some problems with it, I will definitely read volume 2!

Needed a laugh and knew I could count on Gwenpool. (Issue #2)

So much fun! Funny. Awesome. And loved her breaking the fourth wall as she constantly assumes she's in a comic book being watched. Looking forward to more Gwenpool! (This was issue #1)
