It might still be 90° out but I'm ready to start my fall reading. 😁

Early fall always makes me think of this book. It's one of my favorites to re-read. Anyone else have favorite books for each season? 🍁🍂🍁
Enjoying the cooler weather!
My current TBR pile. I think house work is going to have to bout on hold for awhile....
Happy Birthday to me! 😍🎉🎂🎁
Dickens loves this book too! 😃 Just kidding he wants to know why I'm not petting him. 😻
When you get a book from the library and realize it's a keeper 😃#ineedthis
Our 4th of July celebration 🇺🎆🇸🇺🇸🇺🎆🇸
Maybe this one will get me out of my book rut.
The spoils of a day visiting local bookshops. Now i just need to decide what to start with....
Lunch break for our bookshop tour. I found this gem in our first stop.
I came home to this note 😂 my daughter has been trying to finish this one for weeks! I feel her pain!
This was the kind of work week that needed retail therapy!
Spent the day organizing my living room bookshelf and the ones in my bedroom. Nothing beets the view 😁
Two hour delay means I have tine to start a new book before work 😜
I'm half way and have no idea what is going on. ? Also the best line is "You're a walking Agatha fucking Christie plot."
Chores are done. Now I can start #metime 😄 I can't wait to find out if this is as good as the hype!
I don't know what keeps bringing me back to this book. It is not one of the better books I have read and yet this will be my third time reading it.
In a moment if indecision my son told me to read the 'octopus' one. So far this book is immensely fun. And I am delighted to discover there really is an octopus! 😄🐙
Stocked up at the library today. It's going to be a good weekend 😛 Can't wait to start The Hatching, although I do have a terrible fear of spiders.... I'm not sure why I am doing this to myself....
An epic adventure of mythic proportions. It was exactly what I wanted it to be when I picked it up. I highly recommend to anyone who likes mythology or quest stories. The worlds were well fleshed out and vivid.
An afternoon alone. Curling up with something warm while I enjoy the quite.
Snuggling in for a bit before I have to cook dinner. So far I am finding this book only mediocre - hopping it picks up. Has anyone else read it?
Impromptu trip to Barnes and Noble.😄 I'm very excited about the Gwenpool find!
Enjoying the winter morning.
Ready for the big storm!
I voted. Now I'm going to escape to a frozen wasteland until the results come in. #iwouldratherbereading #election2016
5 stars on Goodreads. Once I started this book I couldn't put it down. There where very few parts that did not elicit a strong reaction; horror, revulsion, fear and tenderness. It felt so unique that I was never guessing what would come next. Instead I was just swept along to the conclusion. I think it might take me awhile to recover from that ending.
Date night ❤ Drinks and then Dr. Strange. #BenndictCumberbatch #marvel #nerdlove
My November plans 😜 #novembertbr #librarybookhaul
In honor of Halloween I want to share one of my best loved books. The Terror has two horrific elements, the sub zero cold and the monster stalking the crew. Throughout the entire story I couldn't decide which was a worse fate, freezing to death while starving or being eaten alive.
My Saturday just got a little brighter! Bookmarks Magazine featuring an article about Jonathan Safran Foer. #bookmail
What an amazing night! Hearing Margaret Atwood speak and then meeting her for three seconds while she signed my book!!!! #margaretatwood #authorsaremycelebrities @Scootalou
"Maybe that was what getting older taught you, when you looked in the mirror and saw the passage of time in your face, when you looked at your sleeping daughter and saw the girl you once were and would never be again. The world was real and you were in it, a brief part but still a part, and if you were lucky, and maybe even if you weren't the things you'd done for love would be remembered."
I was reminded of this book the other day and decided to rescue it from the bottom of a forgotten TBR pile.
Finely getting to start this book! #mondayreads #catsandbooks
I was dissapointed with this book. I did not like the writing style, I did not connect with any of the characters and I put most of the pieces together on my own.
There is probably something else I am supposed to be doing right now. #lazymornings
Gathering together my winter #TBR pile. #winteriscoming
My #BOTM arrived the same day as the new Kitten 💗 Meet Zero, our rescue kitty.
