First installment in The Blackwell Pages complete. I'm interested to see how the rest of the mythology is incorporated into this story.
1. Yes, yes, yes, never (ok, almost never - I have one family I‘ll lend to, but they‘ve proven themselves worthy)
2. Depends on the book and life, but anywhere from a day to a week. NF takes a little longer, like I‘ve been reading a Steven Pinker for the last two months.
3. Tagged. It just didn‘t work for me.
Thanks, @Eggs #wondrouswednesday

This is the coolest. Axton and his mom made it. Josh saw it and while I was thinking How to Train your Dragon, he went with Monty Python. And has been quoting the movie non stop.
We both LOVE IT!! Plus some cool mythical creature stickers, and a full set of Percy Jackson bookmarks. I desperately needed these after the puppy found the bookmark stash. 😁

Hey @DrJAdMerricksson , my #potterheadswap has arrived! Thank you so much for the fun items. The book looks great for me and my students to share! And the figure is my favorite Griffyndor :) hope you are well and thanks again!! @JenlovesJT47 thanks for organizing!
Looking forward to the #24in48 Readathon. Lots of great reads in the pile let‘s see if I can make the 24 hours this time.

The 10yr old said he was hooked by Chapter 2. The action starts right away and just keeps going!
Forgot to post this yesterday, but it starts #setinasmalltown I really enjoyed this middle grade intro. to Norse Mythology! I've seen some comments about the misogynistic leanings of the main male characters, and this is true, but it's done on purpose. It's made obvious that the boys were raised this way and have to fight it to treat the girls equally. I actually appreciated this flawed, honest representation of hero descendants. #photoadaynov16
Doctor's appointment went well, kind of in a waiting period. Thank you all for your concern. I feel much better now, and started this fun romp through Norse mythology on audio!
Middle grade adventure fantasy where the descendants of Norse gods must ban together to stave off Ragnarok. Great illustrations and does a good job interweaving the myths so they're understandable. First in the series and perfect for someone looking for a Magnus Chase read-alike.
Other suggestions for an 8-year old who has just finished Sword of Summer?
