It started snowing again tonight and I‘ve decided to curl up in bed with this book.

I‘m always a bit amazed at the randomness of what I choose to read next; I‘ve had this book for a few years and suddenly… here we are. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Exceptionally well written and captivating from the first line. Real elements of gothic atmosphere and a few times actually made my hairs stand on end! Great level of suspense throughout without being repetitive and wonderfully realised characters with human flaws that make them even more interesting. A wonderfully uncomfortable yet convincing reveal and twist at the end that is worth waitng for.
