pickThis was actually one of the first James Patterson books I read around 4 years ago and the one that introduced me to the women‘s murder club. After reading it, I knew I had to read the whole series. It didn‘t disappoint the second time round. Loved it.
It's hour 15 and I'm going strong right now, but I only have 5 1/2 hrs logged so far. I tried to stay up, but I had to sleep last night so lots of catching up to do today! @24in48 #24in48 #24in48readathon #readathon

so-soMy first Patterson, and it was quite meh. For a series called Women‘s Murder Club, the rest of the ladies were only mentioned in passing. Also, it was more of a spy thriller than a murder mystery, in my opinion 🤨
Been a long week! Started this while at the hospital with my gma!! Been staying with her and being her care giver at home for days now! She's terminal.... now I just can't read? 😭
Road tripping with my parents means finding an audiobook we can all agree on. Women's murder club will do.
panI admit up front that this is not really my type of book. I thought most parts of the story were just not very exciting or believable. The main character's inner dialogue got on my nerves. This just wasn't a very strong novel.
so-soBetter than the last few installments but still a bit blah. The "Patterson gotcha!" formula is getting old.
Glad Patterson decided to switch it up a bit! Was refreshing to have the unexpected conflict in the story!
