I am posting one book per day from my to-be-read collection. No description and providing no reason for wanting to read it. Some will be old, some will be new - don't judge me, I have a lot of books 📚

Helen, thank you so much for your card and the extra goodies! You are so kind. There‘s something so cool about getting greetings from halfway around the world, England to Hawaii. Litsy is a special place. ☺️
Day 24 - #BeatrizWilliams #AugustAuthors
I haven‘t read any of her books. I think I need to rectify that.
I worked at the library today, but I did all my final holiday weekend work for my displays yesterday. I had to replenish the #BeachReads Display with a looot of books. First of two stacks. 😁
Have you read any of these?!

One of the few Beatriz novels I haven‘t read yet!!
It‘s been awhile since I sent any book mail out but I FINALLY got two packages out today! @sisilia The Poisonwood Bible #1001BookSwap is officially on its way to you in Singapore. I don‘t know how long it will take but I can imagine about ten days or more. @Cinfhen my buddy read book is also on its way to its destination for when you arrive in the US! Looking forward to hearing what both of you think of these fantastic books! ❤️📚#WorldReaders
I'm not going to lie: for awhile, I wasn't really sure what I was reading, what was happening. I just knew that these characters grabbed my heart from the very first pages, and I wanted so badly to learn their story. Sweeping, romantic, and surprisingly tense, this was a beauty. #overseas #beatrizwilliams
I'm so fricking in love with these damned characters. 😭 #overseas #beatrizwilliams
I'm not at all surprised how quickly this drew me in. I'm so here for it. #overseas #beatrizwilliams
Tonight's "read at work" book, because (as usual!) it's due soon. Can't wait to dive in to my second Beatriz Williams novel! #overseas #beatrizwilliams
Historical fiction that is tough to put down 👏🏻. Thanks @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks for introducing me to Beatriz 🌝
...just tip of an iceberg here plus 2 big shelves upstairs

Overseas is the only Beatriz Williams book I haven't read... Miss Peregrine's was good, but I have not read the others in the trilogy... The pictures were the best part of the book!! 📚📚
Somewhere between a so-so and a pick. Engaging, but a bit, I don't know, too full of OTT emotion and angst for my taste?
I got my first #readdogbox today! Excited to dive in! 😊
I've liked her other books but I'm not a fan of this one. I'm not sure what constitutes a spoiler or I'd elaborate!
Got 60% of the way through it and had to bail. The romantic lead, Julian Ashford, was either being too sappy or too controlling. Which apparently, according to this book and many others, is supposed to be okay if you're a handsome millionaire. I don't care what you look like or how much money you have...just no. I'm over that whole thing. The time travel element wasn't enough to keep me reading either, I still found it rather boring.
At home in my comfy recliner under a soft blanket is my #faveplacetorelax. I like to get cozy and read. #augustphotochallenge #augustofpages
Slightly strange, extremely romantic. The love story that traverses a century is intense & passionate. I enjoyed that relationship very much. The time travel element requires extreme suspension of disbelief. Nevertheless, I loved spending time in Williams' world, with her characters. Next up: TLT.
Overseas was published in 2012, when Wall Street and the White House still exclusively used Blackberrys. I had a Blackberry for work, too, and I loved it. It was perfection, with its crisp little buttons that allowed me to email ands text one-handed. This novel is making me wistful and nostalgic!
I was so happy with the last novel I read by Beatriz Williams, I bought all her earlier books. This is her debut, so I decided to start at the beginning. I can definitely see how she's gotten better as a writer, but OVERSEAS isn't by any means a rough start. I think it's a time travel love story!
Used bookstore haul for today! (You can never have too many books...)😍😉📚
It was a sweet read over a long holiday weekend. Lots of mushy love speeches and what not. Maybe a little too much "Oh, my sweet darling.." Sentences for me. Which led to skimming of paragraphs a few times.
Time slip novel - 1916 British war hero falls in love with a woman in 2008. For fans of Outlander and Susana Kearsley.
