It's May but I am starting a One Year, One Shelf Challenge.

This book has a fun premise, shape shifting dragons called wyverns from another world were exiled to Earth long ago and now live among humans hoarding gold. Sky‘s family is in turmoil after her mother disappeared during a heist gone wrong, and she is determined to learn the truth and redeem her family name. Yet, the world building lacked depth and I wanted more complexity in the plot and character relationships.

The last week has been pretty busy, but this morning is quiet and I‘m fitting in a chapter or two of this were-dragon story before church.

When to Barnes and Noble to work on some school work and picked up these at the end. Got 2 for fun and 1 for my class. Excited to get to these in the near future!

I keep forgetting to do this. My December #fairyloot box. This one includes an Advanced Reader of The Storm Crow by Kalyn Josephson. And I excited for the reading journal which I need to update!

This book was boring and the sentences were bland and choppy

Currently reading

I liked this. It‘s not too often I see a book about heists and dragons in the same story. I flew right through the last half of this because I couldn‘t stop myself. I like the focus on family this book has.

What's on your January TBR?

The #december #fairyloot #unboxing.
I skipped October & November and then returned to December. I like the ARC (my first one!), the booksleave, the reading journal and the necklace, but the other book looks so uninspiring and bland 😕.
