A great reminder about why romance books are so awesome! The book and cultural references are a little dated and white author centered but the underlying theme is still important!

Hey my romance reading Littens (I know you‘re out there somewhere)! Is anyone interested in joining a romance book club? We can suggest a monthly book to each other, discuss (in a fun low key way since romance novels aren‘t always that brainy - let‘s be real) - we can send each other fun notes and keepsakes by mail…what are your thoughts?

I‘ve always wanted to chat with fellow romance lovers but you can be hard to find. Let me know if interested!
I‘m super excited for the #readathon that @maich is organizing... #ReadTheRomanceAThon 💕💕💕💕💕
“buns so tight you could bounce a yak off his left buttock....” This book is both wise and hilarious!
If you like Romance (and other genres to be honest) you neeeeed to listen to Sarah Wendell's podcast: Smart Bitches Trashy Books. It's funny, informative and lots of interviews from variety of people. She and her bitches (group of regulars) are hilarious and great to listen to.
Her books are awesome too!
This was honestly a delightful look at romance novels and how they shape our lives, selves, and relationships. I found a few solid recommendations throughout, and was also reminded to let my partner know just how wonderful he is. I really enjoyed this one.
If you are a romance reader and you aren't already a listener, you need to subscribe to Sarah Wendell's podcast, Smart Podcast, Trashy Books. Also check out smartbitchestrashybooks.com. Reviews and articles from the Bitchery, helpful for those just getting into romance or for longtime readers.
