ValerieAndBooks Not related to this post -- but I was wondering how you were able to show your LibraryThing profile info in your Litsy bio? When I saw that, I tried to see if I could link my LT in my bio (same username btw), but to no avail 🤔. 6y

I had high expectations for this book about an 18th young female painter sent to spy on an English porcelain manufacturer and steal the recipe for their new shade of blue. About halfway through, the story took a weird turn into a romantic interest and nose-dived into bad, nonsensical writing and a plot that lost steam. Any recommendations out there for a GOOD art-centered book?
