“I learned all about school lies...when I read what our school textbook said compared to the books Mrs Dooley helped me find in the library... [She] helped me get what she called primary sources ... like letters and diaries and proclamations... I finally figured out that my schoolbook was propping up some very wobbly ideas.”
This prologue makes me excited. I wish history was only taught with primary sources.

Butterfinger Yes!!! 4y
TheBookHippie Amen !!!!!!! 4y
JenniferTapler Yes!! My son‘s Middle School only uses Primary Sources to teach history and it‘s great!! They utilize Socratic Seminars and almost all of the classes use Harkness Method. It‘s so different than my Middle School experience! 4y
