Has anyone else watched the Mr. Mercedes tv show? It is filmed in Charleston where I live. Of course there are changes but it is pretty good so far. My husband hasn‘t read the books and he is loving it. I think it is easier to enjoy when you aren‘t making comparisons.

GarthRanzz Lots of Bill and Bill today. And I love them all! I need to finish the trilogy, still have the third book to read. And then watch the show. I have had it saved up to watch so I need to quit being lazy and just read the third book! 7y

Unlike some others, I thought King was in fine form for this series. Somewhat of a departure from his usual supernatural horror fare, but by the last book he had figured out how to bring it to the table as well. The first and last books were very well-done. The second book was interesting but loosely connected, but I was willing to buy it just to keep it going. Highly entertaining and kept me on the verge of obsessed.
