so-soThe Gaiman and McKean team has produced another imaginative, absurd story, with a delightful mishmash of artistic styles and text fonts/placement, but it didn't have quite the same warmth for me as The Day I Swapped My Dad for Two Goldfish.
pick📚 Found this beautiful hardcover children‘s book while cleaning. Lucy hears wolves in the walls. Her mom thinks it‘s mice, her dad thinks it‘s rats & her brother thinks she‘s bats! 😆 If wolves should come out of the walls everyone says it‘ll be the end. Lucy has a pig puppet that she won‘t leave behind & soon the people & wolves exchange places. When people come out of the walls everything‘s back to normal unless, was that an elephant? 😆
pickDark. It is exactly what my 9 year old will love and my 6 year old would be terrified of.
Lucy heard noises.
The noises were coming from INSIDE THE WALLS.
They were hustling noises and bustling noises.
They were crinkling noises and crackling noises.
They were sneaking, creeping, crumpling noises.
pickAdorable picture book and classic Gaiman. Listened to the audio also just bc I needed to hear Gaiman tell me a story 😋

pickSo, while procrastinating I have read this book. The story is definitely Neil Gaiman and the art by Dave McKean definitely set the tone. I guess I now have to stop procrastinating and go do homework.

pickI love Gaiman‘s short stories. As much as I love his novels, I think he‘s better at shorter stories. He can‘t get as long-winded as he gets from time to time.

pickAfter seeing the Mirrormask movie, some 7+ years ago, I sought out The Wolves In The Walls book at Chapters, really enjoying the story and illustration style. - I remember asking a sales girl about where to find the book, "It's in the children's section.. Are you sure that's what you're looking for?" / "Let's see it; I'll show you the arts in this book." ? That made another new Giaman fan. ?
pickThis is delightful, super short (only about 15minutes), and Neil Gaiman's voice is just wonderful. I listened to it so I missed out on the pictures but it was a fun listen.
pickA very short audiobook containing 3 stories: •The Day I Swapped my Dad for Two Goldfish, •Wolves in the Walls, •Cinnamon. Also, a poem: •Crazy Hair. They're all silly and cute and narrated by Neil Gaiman. I love him. He should narrate all books! ❤️❤️❤️
