This series is so much fun! I love the mix of witches, vampire and knitting in the Oxford UK setting. This installment also featured the cast of a Shakespearean production and romantic chaos when love potions get administered to the wrong targets.

I've got these two books planned for the #CatsAndDogs readathon, featuring a witch's feline familiar and a bookshop owner's faithful dog!

Perfectly cute cozy mystery. This one has a lot of shenanigans that come when a love potion accidentally gets widely shared. That definitely made for some fun and for a more robust mystery. It's an enjoyable world, the main character is just a bit dull. I guess she's supposed to be the audience surrogate, but she's just so average even with magical powers. Makes it a little hard to care. All she is is nice and pretty. 😴

Girl 1 loves him. But he loves Girl 2. But Girl 2 loves Girl 1... I'm getting such a kick out of this love triangle fiasco! I like that they've stepped away from heteronormative expectations.

Copwithabook Hey look at that, I‘ve been girl 1 before lol 5y
ShyBookOwl @Copwithabook lol no way?! That must have been a weird time for u! 5y
Copwithabook @ShyBookOwl high school! So yes it was! But then girl 2 became my first girlfriend lol. Now I recognize that I‘m bisexual and polyamorous so I‘m married to a man and we are engaged to a woman. Sometimes love triangles do work out ☺️ 5y
ShyBookOwl @Copwithabook holy happy ending!! Wild ride lol so awesome that it's worked out -- and congrats on the engagement! 😊 5y

This cozy paranormal mystery includes a queer romance! It's nearly Valentine's Day and love is in the air... all kinds of love 😏💗 following a love potion fiasco, Lucy is surprised to realize she has become the object of affection for a beautiful female college student.

Frogg's Books on Harrington Street was exactly what a bookshop ought to be. #firstlinefridays
