These are so much fun and make me feel so nostalgic for the old school buffy 🖤

Captures the feel of season one Buffy pretty well, although season one is not my favorite. The art is okay, and the story feels like a lesser, but not bad, episode.
This was just okay. I love “Buffy” and have a renewed passion for it thanks to the fantastic podcast “Buffering the Vampire Slayer,” so I‘ve been consuming many Buffy-related things. This was entertaining and felt true to the characters, but ultimately it just didn‘t feel like it had enough of a story.
A cute quick dose of Buffy. #24in48

Homemade waffles and Buffy! Hope you're having a good weekend! What are you up to?
Capped off my reading last night with a quick Buffy fix. It's been awhile since I've seen the show but the dialogue and mannerisms seemed so authentic I started hearing the characters in my head as I was reading. I do love Faith Erin Hicks. #24in48
Cute!! Short and seems a little more younger-reader style, but very cute and still has the charm of the show. It's got almost manga ish style art, a little different from other Buffy comics I've read. I think this is set in S1. #seriousreadingday
This gets points for giving me another story about my scoobies, but that's about it, unfortunately. The art was not my style, everyone looked like they had botched plastic surgery. On top of that, it was really low on the wit that should be central to any Buffy and the gang story.
I have some catching up to do tonight!!
#bookisholympics complete! 2 novels, 2 memoirs, 2 graphic novels and 1 short read. All within a 60 hour work week. Yay silver!
LOL. Silly Vampires! This cute and quick graphic novel takes us back to the early years of Buffy (this book specifically before Angel's "secret" was known). It was fun, light, nostalgic, and way too short. I can't wait to read more. ?
I'm a mega BTVS fan. I started watching the series in high school and fell in love after episode 1. This comic covering the high school years hit all my nostalgia receptors. It was fantastic! It read EXACTLY like a season 1 episode with all the camp and snark included. I'm excited for the next book.
