pickThis was cute and interesting. Not a 5 star read, but it did have some really great thoughts on raising children and having children and what goes into being a parent. I really enjoyed the characters and the way they came together in this through their differences, etc. I definitely thought this was a fun book to read!
pickThis was a sweet, simple book about life‘s not so simple decisions. At 39, Leona is single and living in her sister‘s basement. She begins to question where her life is going after a talk with her doctor who reminds her if she wants kids, she better decide soon. The rest of the story revolves around this decision and the quirky characters that help her decide. The sister really bothered me and the story was a bit uneven, but still, a good read.

Even though this platform is just basically Instagram and Goodreads combined, and I'm decently active on both, I'm still kinda having a hard time trying to figure things out here. But nonetheless, I think this is such a great place for all us to get fresh air and restart though I know we're not leaving Booksta! 😂

I know there are a lot of people who don't like this holiday, but I have always loved it. Every year growing up my mom would make us a giant sugar cookie with our name on it and all her love was baked into the cookie. It was always my favorite Valentine.
Ever since I moved out of the house I have been following my mom's tradition of giant heart cookies with names and today is baking day ❤️
pickFinished this in 2016, so not adding it to my #litsyAtoZ challenge. This was a book that I got in my #onceuponabookclub subscription box. I like that I'm presented with books that I wouldn't normally read, and then am motivated to read them to open the presents associated with page numbers. I did like this book. It was a easy, light, quick read. Sort of like candy 🍭🍬🍭🍬🍭, empty calories, but so good.
pickThis was my first Nyhan book (special thanks to Once Upon A Book Club for sending me their November Box) and I was very impressed. I loved her style of writing. This is a fun and engaging story with relatable characters. Higly recommended. Actual Rating: 4.5 out of 5

I am also thankful for a husband who puts up with my crazy book hoarding and allowing me free reign to paint my built in book shelf a random aqua blue.
Once upon a book club has a great idea going. Once a month you purchase your 'box'. You receive the book of the month and gifts that you open while you're reading that go along with the book. This months book was All the Good Parts. Not my normal read but so far I am loving it, and opening gifts!

pickWitty and quirky with plenty of laugh-out-loud moments, ALL THE GOOD PARTS is an immensely relatable story that kept me turning the pages. Nyhan expertly weaves plenty of tender-hearted and poignant themes, crafting rich characters that are just like the rest of us: human, with all our beauty and flaws. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and look forward to her next book.
