OMG this series is gonna be over too soon, I can already tell. SO. FREAKING. GOOD. A heroine on the spectrum (expertly written by an author who's neurodivergent herself), and a hunky hockey stud who's been secretly pining for her for years. Love, love, loved every second.
Loved this grumpy sunshine romance with a heroine on the spectrum, dealing with additional health issues and a Shakespeare loving hockey hero who is happy to wait until she is ready. Slow and careful, this romance was a total delight! I love the whole Bergman clan! #BookspinBingo @TheAromaofBooks

1. I played volleyball in middle school and was a cheerleader all through school because I‘ve always enjoyed watching more than playing! My favorites to watch are football and hockey. 🏈🏒
2. The tagged book is a hockey romance that I really enjoyed! ❤️
If you want to play, consider yourself tagged! 🤗
Recommended through a book club I joined and definitely enjoyed the book! Dedication in the book: For the misfits. You are wonderfully made. You belong. Always. Technically #2 in a series, but can be read as stand alones. The series follows siblings in a family—their own “love story.” Really liked the two main characters in this book, Frankie and Ren. The story is heartwarming, steamy and humorous with such great themes!
These books just do it for me!
•Ren. A 6‘3” cinnamon roll hockey player who is a virgin!🥵 #alwayslookingforJamieFraser
•Frankie, a bad ass woman who deals with chronic pain (RA) and is on the autism spectrum. (Own voices story)!
•These two had unrequited love for each other and unbeknownst to the other one.
•The slow delicious burn that built to an incredible crescendo!
These audios are super duper fantastic too! #chloeliese #sportsromance

•The Great Naked Towel Tango 😏

I highly recommend this incredible series!
I really enjoyed this #ownvoices rom com. Frankie is on the spectrum and also has RA. When she realizes she‘s catching feelings for pro hockey player, Ren, her carefully constructed life is upended. I really liked Frankie and Ren and rooted for them the whole time!

This month was so tough to choose, as I read some amazing books - Six of Crows, The House in the Cerulean Sea, All Rhodes Lead Here, The Duke Heist and tagged. So many 5⭐️reads this month.
I‘m highlighting this indi rom-com as it should get more attention. Chloe Liese was one of my favorite new authors of the year!
A cute romance with a hockey player and a woman who is on the spectrum. Very self aware and informative while at the same time a romcom.
An #ownvoices book with hockey?!?!
Frankie has autism and some of the lines from her perspective hit me hard. My nephew has autism and many of my students do too - I highlighted so many things!!! And I stopped to just think and reflect multiple times.
I also stopped to laugh hysterically at the insults and one liners! Liese has some comedic gold going on in this book and I‘m hoping for opportunities to use Shakespearean insults in daily life.
It was impossible not to root for Frankie. Between autism and RA her strength really shined, with Liese showing that just because you have some physical limitations (RA) it doesn‘t mean your helpless. Frankie got a lot of that when she was younger and Ren was a breath of fresh air for her. Her frankness re: autism was done well.
The story lost me at times and I didn‘t care for Ren, but the representation was perfection.
