A Very Bossy Christmas
A Very Bossy Christmas | Kayley Loring
6 posts | 7 read | 7 to read
Whats the actual last thing youd ever want your executive assistant to see you doing the morning after you had hot, drunk, angry sex with her in a terrible hotel room? Dancing around your terrible hotel room to Come and Get Your Love like Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxynaked? Yeah. Me too. And yet, here we are. This isnt even the most unprofessional thing thats happened between us in the past couple of weeks. The first was when I agreed to let her have Christmas Day off, but only if she goes with me to three family gatherings as my fake girlfriend. The second was when she caught me belting out a Christmas song on stage in the awful hotel bar. The third was the hot, drunk, angry sex that followed, but I do not regret it. And she hasnt even found out the real reason I need her by my side this holiday season. I need to pull it together before I do the dumbest, most unprofessional thing of allfall head over heels in love with the only assistant whos lasted more than a month at the job and claims to hate me and my moods more than she hates eggnog. And Ive seen how much she hates eggnog.

Combining these reviews because Once Upon a Christmas Carol isn‘t in the Litsy database. The top book was the equivalent of a cold shower compared to the books I‘ve been reading lately 😝 Very cute short cozy romance about a musician forced home for the holidays. Full cast audio.

I love when a book comes with a playlist. Check the link for music from A Very Bossy Christmas https://tinyurl.com/3kzjdays #BookMusicPairing loved getting back to ⬇️

MatchlessMarie the Cannavale/Cassidy family dynamics in the Very Holiday series. I read a Very Vegas St. Patrick‘s day in March which is actually the 3rd in the series but you don‘t have to read these in order. Kayley Loring is hilarious and I will surely read more from her. 9mo

Another Christmas romance story. The troupe is also very familiar. Guy needs date for Christmas so fake being my girlfriend. This is the third book I have read recently with this troupe. However, this one was well done. The character development is better than what I have come to expect from books like this. 4⭐

StayCurious The second book which takes place at Valentines Day is cute as well - I couldn't find it in the database but I think it's called A Very Friendly Valentine's Day 2y
TheSpineView @StayCurious Thanks! I liked it enough to continue reading the series. 2y

Cute, grumpy sunshine and fake dating. Tropes I love and really enjoyed in this book. Declan is a grumpy and bossy man to work for, especially when he won‘t give Maddie Christmas Day off of work. That is, until he needs a fake date for when he goes back home. He and Maddie make a deal, but both secretly hope for more.

I don't understand why the author made the relationship between hero and his ex so serious. They dated off/on for at least a decade got tattoos to symbolize their love to each other and we're to believe hes suddenly ok with his brother marrying the woman he once thought he would marry himself?Thats just too much history to blow off.And then they make the hero out to be the asshole because he didnt talk to them after he found out they were engaged🙄
