This was a cute holiday novella available on KU and was just what you‘d expect from a cute holiday novella. I like the author and look forward to reading more from her. This gained me a bunch of #WGWordSearch points for #WinterGames2024 Team #XmasChaCha #ChristmasChapterChasers

Thank goodness this was so short! (Actually the problem might be that it was too short. 🤔) Caleb & Nola hate Christmas & end up sending each other anonymous letters about the horrors of the season which quickly morph into penpal flirting & telling each other detailed stories about their lives. Sounds adorable, right?! Problem is they were HS sweethearts & I can't believe they didn't tell some of those stories back then. There needed to be more ⬇️

I didn‘t realize this was a (very) short story when I downloaded it from kindle unlimited, but it was cute and perfect for December! I like the way Meghan Quinn writes and wish this was a full novel. Book #82 in 2023

This was a short and sweet second chance Christmas romance. Set in a small town dominated by the holiday season, neither Caleb nor Nola are experiencing the holiday spirit this year, but as they anonymously write each other letters about their hate of the holidays their feelings begin to change. I thought the romance was a little fast, and a little cheesy, but I think that's just the nature of a Hallmark-y romcom novella.

Nola gets a mystery letter from someone else who hates Christmas due to a bad break up, just like her. She responds in kind. Their written exchanges are hilarious. The surprise is that the two know each other from their pasts and find each other irritating. It was cute! The narrators did a great job. If you are able, I recommend giving this one a listen over reading the ebook #winterreadathon
