pickA popular author and radio psychologist pops up in Savannah for a book signing, gets heckled, and then poisoned. And a former witch (and Mungo's former owner!) is the main suspect. Katie and crew start investigating as it seems there were a lot of people who would want the woman dead. I liked this one better than the last few, but I figured out the killer pretty early on.
This is a combined Feb and Mar post for my #seriesreads. I'm almost caught up with Magical Bakery series, got another done in the Oz series, and started 2 other series.

I'm traveling this week and Spells and Scones is the perfect hotel book!
pickOne of my favorite things about this series (besides the witchy bakers 😉) is that Bailey Cates includes a couple recipes in the back of the book and infuses the story with such great flavors! I'm itching to get in the kitchen and make some savory greek scones!
pickCates never disappoints and this latest installment of the Katie Lightfoot series certainly lives up to its predecessors... Just when you think you know who done it a curveball is thrown your way and it is time to find a new suspect! I really don't want to have to wait a whole year for the next magical bakery mystery!
Stayed in a hotel overnight and my room has the most comfortable reading couch.... I wonder if they would miss it.....
