The latest book in the excellent Maeve Kerrigan Series. Quite a complex murder mystery with plenty of angst and taking forward of the Josh and Maeve story. Was feeling quite upbeat then the epilogue. Now reeling with that ending! 😳😱😫🫣😢🤯😭 I need the next book now. What has Jane Casey done!

pickThis is the latest book in my favorite detective series, and it did not disappoint. The mystery was complicated and the ongoing story of Maeve‘s personal life moved forward in interesting ways. The mystery was solved but the book also ended in a giant cliffhanger! I can‘t wait for the next one!

A Stranger in the Family | 
If you've been reading this series so far, then I'm not going to spoil this one for you. Safe to say, the case is an interesting one, but the main aspect is the will-they-won't-they between the two main characters. 1mo
I thought 'The Close' was the author's best so far, but this one is just about perfect. I'm now moving straight on to the next book in the series (luckily I managed to snag an ARC) because I need to know what happened in that epilogue. 5🌟
