I went to college with this author. I was afraid of coming out as techno sexual to him, but he was amazingly cool about it over Facebook. Still as kind and sweet as ever. He used to show up at my room at my lowest points and when I mentioned it he said he knew from all the way across campus and came to cheer me up. On a slightly unrelated note, I will be drooling over robots and cars instead of meat.
