When I want brain candy I head for Kristan Higgins. This one wasn‘t my favorite. Still a few laugh-out-loud moments but not her usual.
This book—Ripped me apart and sewed me back together. The emotions this author pulls to the surface is nothing less than phenomenal. Love, trust, betrayal, past haunts, the promise of a future —selflessness and selfishness —no rock is left unturned... and she throws in romance and humor to boot. Loved this 📖. I plan to gift this book to a few of my gal pals in need of a voice; a way to hear their feelings explored, dismantled, and validated. 5 *

I have not read this book but i recently read the blurb while at target thought it may be a good fit for todays prompt. I knew the Liz Phair cd cover would fit😉
Not my usual genre but I really loved this book. It wasn't your typical sappy romance and I appreciate that. The humor mixed in was a nice touch too. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
38 books- this doesn't even include all the swag. Had to wait for the hubs to go to work 😱😂
This is due back at the library tomorrow, and somehow I couldn't bear to take it back without finding out what happened.
Tea and a book tonight. This book has made me laugh out loud a few times. The main characters need to grow a backbone though. I guess I'll have to #waitforit
This cracks me up! I was clearly only reading historical mystery series🔎 and contemporary women's fiction with flower covers 💐 last year at this time 😂#tbt My profile: https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/6968963-raela
Sweet and hearty and the perfect Sunday read when I'm feeling blue after a fun, restorative weekend with family.
I am in the third chapter, not liking it so far. I have loved all of her books but this one is written a bit different. It's not funny or quirky, which is the reason I usually pick up her books. I might come back to it later but bailing on it now.
Isn't this book gorgeous?! 😍 I can't wait to read it, I adore Kristan Higgins!
The second by this author. A book club pick. So predictable and the characters so cookie cutter. Sigh.
This book is a bit of a departure from the previous books of her's I've read. It's more serious, less romantic. I really enjoyed it. I feel this book is more mainstream literature than romance. I would highly recommend it.
