#joyousjanuary spending a bit of my morning reading for work! I highly recommended the tagged but if you like biology and creepy crawlies like me!

My #bookspin was interesting - and oof, gnarly in places. But too many if / then statements to hold up in the later chapters. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

I think I have over committed to reading groups this month! Tagged book with my Eukaryotic Microbiology student, Harry Potter with my 9yo son (he‘s ahead), Manfield Park, #pemberlittens (chapter a day), and The Outsiders with my 12 yo daughter (this is my original copy from 7th grade). I am thrilled to be reading a book from 7th grade with my 7th grader. #raisingreaders

2) Yes, the apartment is nice, I have a big closet & my own bathroom, I have good neighbors, and I love my balcony. I just don't like our winter.
3) I haven't finished it yet, bit so far it is an interesting read.
4) afternoon or evening. Not too late or too early usually.
5) I'm at work tonight, so I will probably just have a peanut butter banana sandwich.

Taking a break from studying and starting this read. I love shows like "Monsters Inside Me", so of course I had to buy a book about how parasites manipulate behavior.

Reading while my son takes karate and before my class start. Always a good time to get caught up! 🥋 #karateandreading

@MicrobeMom I got this book from the library because you recommended it. I like creepy medical stuff, sometimes, lol. The other one I got off of a list somewhere, most likely book riot, maybe buzzfeed 🤷🏽‍♀️lol. Anywhoo, this is today‘s #libraryhaul I decided to put my lucky troll doll in the pic this time instead of a cat. I had it waaaayy before the movie Trolls came out, lol. It‘s so special it made the move and I actually know where it is!!❤️

Parasite that make you act like a zombie! Who wouldn‘t want to read about this? #awesome 🧟‍♀️ 🧟‍♂️
