3.4 Did I love it, no. Did I hate it, absolutely not. Would I read it again… Yes, I would, because some of it was just so damn funny. This quote is not even my favorite quote, but it‘s the closest one that would fit on the page. Just imagine being abducted and held against your will by this hot guy, that wants to marry you, and everybody in town is cool with this. #51 of my #Roll100 for March, and only book I have decided to keep so far.

#Read2025

Finished this one yesterday, it‘s the 2nd of my March #Roll100 picks (#51 Any Library Book) & the 5th book from my #AuldLangSpine list from @JacqMac & I loved it! A historical mystery centered around a real-life midwife, Martha Ballard. I found the mystery gripping in how it unfolded & the look at midwifery in 1779 in Maine was interesting. The author‘s notes in the back about the choices she made in telling Martha‘s story were also ⬇️

DebinHawaii … absorbing. I found it sadly interesting just finishing it yesterday before reading chapters 5 & 6 in this month‘s #SheSaid pick (tagged below) on the entitlement of medical care & bodily control of women, just how much hasn‘t changed.🤬 An enthusiastic ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ it will go on my Best of 2025 list & I‘ll look for more of the author‘s books. Thanks to @JacqMac for the nudge to read it & @monalyisha for her excellent #AuldLangSpine matching. 🤗 (edited) 2w
kspenmoll I loved this book! It was my #AuldLangSpine book (edited) 2w

Here‘s my #roll100 picks. #51 is a Christian nonfiction book. #9 is a memoir by a quantum healer, #90 is a cocktail recipe book. I can‘t read #74 yet because it‘s being published in April. I preordered the ebook from www.bookshop.org so I‘ll read it after it‘s released. I‘m rolling over 2 books from February. I‘m currently reading My Healthy Noggin. I don‘t know when I‘ll get finished with it. I haven‘t started Black, Queer & Untold yet.

Number 12 in the bookmobile cat mystery series. It's getting a touch repetitive, but there was a culmination to one story arc in this book so that was sweet. Just another mystery that Minnie "has" to solve because apparently, law enforcement hasn't learned that they're never going to best her. #51-2024

Meh. A library book club pick, something I wouldn‘t have chosen and I didn‘t really enjoy it. I didn‘t like the way it was written, it was from Corky‘s point of view and also a narrator. I felt like it tried too hard to sugar coat segregation and came off as being told from June Cleavers point of view. It was very whitewashed. Book #51 in 2024

First book I read by this author and I will say I liked the writing style and the story, at least this one. There is a murder and people in the remote Highlands blame the wolves. Inti knows that this attack was not made by the wolves, then by who. She is working with a team to protect the wolves but this project is not well received by the community. But the story is more than that, is about Inti, who can be seen as unlikable character⬇️

Gissy (Cont.)..difficult, confrontative person. But then you know about her sister, her relationship with her mother, her father, and you will have another perspective of the whole situation, why she doesn‘t trust others why is difficult for her to be receptive to new relationships. All those situations in only 256 pages. Wow! That was amazing as a writer. There are some triggers like sexual abuse/assault. 4/4.5⭐️ 14mo
Gissy I forgot, it is a slow pace reading.
