I love Anne of Green Gables and especially the 1985 miniseries. Today‘s reading for #KindredSpiritsChristmas is the short story about Matthew buying Anne a dress with puffed sleeves for Christmas. Matthew is such a sweetheart & this is one of my favorite scenes from the movie. Reading this makes me want to do a reread of the whole series! 5⭐️ 80 points

I have to admit, I was worried about this one because I couldn't imagine it having any plot conflicts. And while it didn't, I still enjoyed reading it and appreciating it for just being a charming book. #bookelevenof2024
