pick4.5 ⭐This book is beautiful. This is a book for a non-biological child. Reiterating that while they may not have been birthed but they were wanted, waited for, and anxious to be met in the world. The illustrations are lovely they go right with the story, and this is sure to be one kids will read and parents will read to their children for years if not generations to come.

pick4.5 ⭐ This book is lovely. It‘s simple but it‘s well done. It has a definitive pat pattern. It rhymes well and it doesn‘t try to be more than it is. The illustrations by Suzie Mason are wonderful and altogether, this is a pleasant work of art that sure to be on Library shelves for you to come.

pick4 ⭐ First thing, as a Gen X are I feel the submarine should be yellow. However, this was a fun book. It sounds like Paul McCartney. A reader can picture him standing up there telling this story to his grandchildren. And that‘s what makes this picture book successful. The illustrations definitely help it along as they match perfectly to the tone and the ideas put in a person‘s head by the story.

It‘s about 2 young girls who see a man in the market selling a “magic light”, which they are convinced they need so their baby brother can sleep better & not get congested by the usual kerosene lamps. So they start selling flowers to raise money for it. Sweet & wholesome. 4⭐️🇳🇵

Last night was one of our favourite school events of the year! Every year, they host a Snuggle Up and Read evening. Everyone comes to the school in their pajamas, and there are all sorts of literacy focused events throughout the school. It's the most cozy form of chaos, and the kids LOVE it!
