I read A Wrinkle in Time a million years ago when I was very young, but don't remember much about it. I bought the whole series for my boys recently so it seemed like a reread was in order.
I finished Memento last night and will finish this very shortly which will out me at 10/8 books for #bookfitnesschallenge !! Two books ahead of my goal, let's see if I can get in one or two more! #bfc

I‘ve purged my books so many times since moving out of my parents place that I don‘t have many of my #ChildhoodReads left, but I‘ve held on to this one. I have very fond memories of my older cousin reading me these silly poems along with Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark as kids.

Growing up my books were borrowed from the library. My parents didn‘t have the money to buy me books so my mom made sure to walk with me to the library quite often. I think I was in 5th grade when I chose to get my first HP book instead of a toy. My 4th grade teacher had read us the book, so I already knew I liked it. The Complete Brambly Hedge is one of the books I have had since a child. The illustrations are beautiful and detailed, and the stories are sweet. I‘m pretty sure it was on the TV for a little while too... ☺️

Time for another photo challenge! This was one of my favorite childhood books. My first copy was a paperback that had a pale pink cover. I read it until it fell apart and then was given this hardback copy. I now own a beautiful slipcovered edition, but I can't seem to part with this well-loved copy. 🌻💚
