Rather than a linear telling, this was snippets of experiences from Drew‘s life, that illustrate her coming of age into a beautiful grounded centered woman , wife, mother. I didn‘t realize her youth had been so difficult, she‘s come a long way, and tells her story with heart and humor! ❤️🌸 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This book is finally over!🎉🎉😳

Other than one or two essays, I was not a fan of Lawson‘s style. I usually don‘t like books by bloggers, and this definitely felt like a compilation of blog posts instead of a book. The rambling drove me nuts. But it was the only audiobook I had on hand, so I powered through.

alisiakae @Riveted_Reader_Melissa I also have a hard time giving negative reviews, esp with memoirs. I think it‘s great that her books are impactful and meaningful for a lot of readers, and as someone with anxiety, I could definitely relate. Her style is just not for me. 6y

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Yes, the video of the grandma reading this is really funny but the book itself is pretty funny too! Great rhyming book for the little ones. I can't imagine anyone reading this without having a twitch of the lips.

AlaMich OMG that video was hilarious!! My wife teaches first grade and ordered the book for her class. However, her principal nixed it, her reason being that it might encourage the kids to mock the disabled. 🙄🙄🙄 (edited) 6y
