My haul from #Powells! I was very reserved and good during my visit. This was all under $40! #BookHaul Has anyone read any of these? I hadn't heard of the bottom 2 before seeing them at Powell's. I hope they are good!

JamieArc I just finished listening to Don‘t You Cry. It reminded me a little of a Lifetime movie, but it wasn‘t terrible and I‘m curious to read another of Kubica‘s books. 6y

MinDea @JamieArc have you read the tagged book? That was my first (and only) Mary Kubica book. I think they are alright but I agree with your Lifetime comment. She isn't my favorite author by any means but figured I would give another of her books a try (plus it was $6!)

JamieArc @MinDea No I haven‘t been that was on my radar next to read. I JUST found out that I get to take a work trip to Portland in November and my hotel‘s just a 5 minute walk from Powell‘s so I‘m really excited!!! 6y

MeikeReads @BarbaraBB This is only my second box, so I don't have much experience yet, but you can check out the Powell's website and look at many previous boxes- the books are consistently well-chosen, the quality of the other goodies varies from cool mugs to slightly odd tea towels (or, in this case, a coaster)... 6y

My #Indiespensable box came today! As well as the tagged book, it contains an early copy of a new edition of Territory of Light and a lovely ceramic beverage coaster. I was just listening to @Liberty rave about this book on the All the Books podcast, so I look forward to it.

Nute I miss having this book subscription box, but I ran out of storage room for hardback books with slip covers. They were well-chosen titles and always lovely. 6y

Hooked_on_books @Nute I agree—they really do a nice job. But shelf space is a huge consideration. I‘m grateful I have lots and am I afraid and able to add to it! (Even if I may never get to all these books!) 6y
