This book was so vivid and well written. It took me a while to get into it, probably, just because of the genre, but I‘m glad I stuck with it. The view from our campsite in New Mexico. Off to cold Sante Fe Tuesday for a week and a half!

#readingEurope2020 #Finland. I felt like I was reading part fever dream, part fairy tale and part child‘s book. I‘m not certain I liked it. I‘m not certain I didn‘t.

There are not enough stars to describe this book. Smart and very insightful. This book should be read by all. #nonfiction2020
Our view today from our campsite. #newMexico Reading, hiking and knitting. Not too shabby.
Just in off my library hold. Has anyone read this yet? I‘m looking forward to this one.
#germany I liked this book, but I didn‘t enjoy it as much as the reviews suggested. Still a good book. #readingEurope2020
A nice relaxing easy read. Rather reminds me of Notting Hill except for it‘s a knitting shop. 3.5 stars because it‘s written by a knitter. #UK #readingEurope2020

I was terribly late to the game with this one. When it was published it didn‘t grab my attention at all, but this time around I enjoyed it. 4 stars. I don‘t even know what the hashtag is for the #readingAroundEurope but if someone would correct me, I will give a virtual hug! #sweden
Spotty internet ( that‘s kind) but I‘d like to share a beautiful place with you this Thursday. I‘m reading and knitting lots, just unable to post. ❤️
First book finish of 2020! Of course it‘s non fiction! Really an insightful look at being working poor. #2020
In New Orleans, waiting for some beignets. Not book related except we are off to a bookstore and yarn store after.
All the way from chilly Pensacola Florida! Hope everyone is enjoying your Wednesday, Christmas, Chanukah . I‘ve been enjoying a low key day and our shrimp and scallops meal is ready to go!
Next up. Looking forward to this one. Translated from Finnish.
And we are off. #RoadTrip We will be headed to Pensacola where we will spend Christmas and then off to New Orleans for the New Year. Follow my blog for books, travel and knitting. Safepassagesandprose.com.
Totally cheated. Subbed out two books that I haven‘t gotten to as I can only do audiobooks at the moment due to packing and moving. So....I left one Women Talking that still needs to be read and I will make this goal. #20Booksby2020. #cheated #read200Plusin2019. Oh well. 😂
Five stars. It‘s easy listened to and quite short. Read it because of the topic about the US refugee policy. Count it toward your reading goals. Beautifully written, it will make you remember the children.
Next up. Not exactly an uplifting book, but certainly a necessary one.
It was so worth two holds and waiting. A solid 4.5 stars. Watch this writer.
I started this a few months ago, but was unable to finish it before it needed to go back to the library. The holds list just sent it back and I find it so enjoyable.
A enjoyable listen by Mike Rowe. He‘s a hometown hero, so I was curious to listen while I pack up our home. It was a tribute to Paul Harvey in many ways, of which Mike was a big fan. Easy listening and funny.
Next up. DNA a and paternity. Similar to a book my cousin‘s wife wrote. Exposed by DNA. By Katie Hopkins. This is likely happening often now.
Three more to go. I just finished Family Trust so the next will be going back to reading Good And Mad. #20Booksby2020
So glad this was better than I was expecting. Someone said it was a mix up of Crazy Rich Asians and someone Celeste Ng would write. Thank goodness it was closer to Celeste Ng! Entertaining and I will rate it 3.75. #20BooksBy2020
Not book related exactly, but #audioknitting can be productive. Latest finish.
Truth.
A great audiobook! The immigrant experience and family are explored in this book. Watch out for this author. She is going places.
This book will be polarizing. You will love it, as I did, or you will throw it in the DNF pile. Either way, you‘ll admit, this author can write about gritty topics that will reside in your head for a while. ❤️
Wow! What a great resource for knitters that are garment knitters. Discussing how to knit sweaters etc that actually fit. The author actually gives great photos of it all. I‘m not that advanced in knitting and much was lost on me. If you are in this league of knitter, this is a great resource. #nfNovember ( forgot to push post last night) 🤪
I recommend this book to all who want to know more about Patty Hearst. Again, the justice system shows us two tiered justice. One for the poor. One for the rich. #NFNovember
Very much enjoying this audiobook. I remember the whole Patty Hearst kidnapping, but this is the definitive history. #NFNovember
Such a great book! Written in the character driven style of John Irving, Anne Tyler and now Ann Patchett, this is certainly my cup of tea. About families and forgiveness, in the end. I enjoyed it enough to give it all the stars.

This is different from the others that came before it. Cultism is discussed as well as silent abetters. I wonder if we will know who the author is. Proceeds are going to a journalist cause. #nfNovember
It just came in from my library. I‘m through the first chapter. Nothing new yet. Everything we know about this unfit con man. Anyone else reading it? #nfNovember
Wow! A memoir of a dysfunctional upbringing and recovery. Reminiscent of The Glass Castle, this audiobook is just great. #nfNovember. #24b4Monday. #2
Two book completed. #nfNovember. #24b4Monday I‘ve read about 15 hours so far.
I just finished this article and I‘m so depressed. So many people don‘t believe climate change and here we are. I know it‘s not a book but important. #nfNovember
