This was a very entertaining Romantasy! I really liked the world building, characters and the overarching story. It also had a very cool magic system. My one criticism is that the book could have used a little more editing. The middle of the book did drag a bit and there were a few repetitive sections. Overall I would definitely recommend this book and look forward to more in this world. 4.25⭐️

This was so fun! The second half of the book was full of adventure and plenty of action.

Loved this read. A romantasy that has a world filled with dragons and moons. Great characters and each chapter is needed. I love Raeve and Kaan. If you like Court of Thorns and Roses this one is a must to read. 🐉🐉🐉🐉🐉

I read 8 books in February. A slow month for me. Pictured is my reading journal where I like to draw in their spines next to a star rating. I write the full title and author name on the left page.

Favorites were my rereads of Moon Called & Blood Bound with A Closed & Common Orbit being a close second.

Finished out the month with a couple of Ruby Dixon books from her Aspect & Anchor series which is one of hers I have not yet finished reading. ⬇️

Soubhiville I love your journaling method! Looks really nice. 3w
MeganAnn 1/2: Tagged book is a sort of prequel novella for the Aspect & Anchor series. It follows a spinster princess who lost her family & kingdom in the war that happened 16 years prior where she saved the life of the enemy‘s son. The new barbarian king has come to claim her as his bride after being in love with her ever since she saved his life. His culture has some unusual marriage customs. It‘s a quick, fun standalone read with some spicy scenes. ⬇️ (edited) 3w
MeganAnn 2/2: Ruby Dixon shines in these short novella type stories. I think the main Aspect & Anchor books are good, but kind of long for her and do suffer a bit because of the longer length. When she keeps it shorter (I think most of the Ice Planet Barbarian books & related spinoffs are under 300 pages) she draws you into the character‘s romance quickly and keeps the momentum going. The longer titles lose that in the middle then pick up again. (edited) 3w
MeganAnn @Soubhiville thank you! 🥰 3w

… caused a nice little book hangover… wasn‘t too heavy but still made me sad that I won‘t see more of Rune and Gideon in the future.

Newest finished book vs newest edition to my library

Had to drag myself through the first 20% but well worth the pay off. I saw so many complaints about the writing style of this. Growing up reading Tolkien, the writing style wasn‘t difficult to get through. 4✨ & I can‘t wait to get my hands on the next installation in October.

In search of another cozy-type fantasy w/humor and light romance, I came upon this. Since it was on Kindle Unlimited, I didn't realize it was over 1,000 pages until I started. It has great reviews, rated high. I thought it was more acceptable to read 1 big book than 5 (like a lot of series are nowadays.) But it didn't get to the part I wanted! I wanted so much to see Sasha in Between and see how Lorn and her figure things out! Still enjoyable. 4⭐

ItsAnotherJen **The main character is not a teenager, she is 30. I wanted to point that out to anyone else not wanting another book with such young characters. 😬 1mo
