A fairly intermediate bread baking book - though I think that most sourdough books are intermediate bread baking because of the natural yeast aspects of it.
I lived with a year of flat loafs until I found a "method" that worked with our humid climate and my timings. Hopefully I will be able to convert some of the recipes noted here into something that works for me.

Working my way through this as I have time to refresh my starter. I bought it more for the science-y part and not so much for the recipes but I think I will try a couple next year.

I loved this one. Smart and weird and so possible, but also so not. And Lois Clubs are a real thing! I have celiac disease and can‘t even eat bread but it made me want to build an oven. #botm #sourdough

Once upon a time there was a girl who worked in a big IT company. By accident she catches the eye of flyer delivery service. She makes the order and from that moment her life begins to change!
It's a quick, enjoyable read!
P.S. Reading the book, I sometimes drooled from the way freshly baked bread was described!😋

My technique still needs some work, but I‘m happy with this first attempt at making sourdough using Chad Robertson‘s method. It definitely has more of the crumb and crust that I‘m working to achieve than any other recipe I‘ve tried. The method is a challenge for me though since it‘s a completely different texture of dough than I‘m used to.

As much as I love my other reads, this one is affecting me more. I‘m googling GF sourdough recipes. I used to have a traditional starter, and I‘d love to bake sourdough again. Also found this Barbara Club in Michigan. And one of so many quotable moments. #robinsloan #sourdough

Daisey Although I do not have this book, I‘ve read about his sourdough and really want to try some of the methods with my own starter sometime, but I usually only bake on the weekends. 2y
Ericalambbrown @Daisey That‘s the great thing about sour dough starter . . . Keep it in the fridge and you can neglect it until 2 of 3 before you want to bake. Give it a couple days love and BOOM! Right back to it. Microbes have been here since way before us humans and they will be here long after! 😂 2y
