pickFor a celebrity memoir, I was pleasantly surprised at how eloquently this book was written. A blend of his journey into acting and his diagnosis with Parkinson‘s, it struck just the right tone between serious and gossipy. Although he unfortunately didn‘t succeed in his foundation‘s goal of finding a cure for Parkinson‘s in 10 years, he has made a tremendous impact in bringing awareness and support for this horrible disease. Good on audio

This amazing Star Trek actor/activist shares such moving stories: spending his childhood imprisoned in American “relocation” camps during WWII(as depicted in his stirring graphic novel), meeting Gene Roddenberry, landing his most iconic role aboard the Enterprise & remaining longtime friends with the cast. Even tho Shatner tried to steal all the best lines!😁🖖🏻

I was on Kanopy recently and I discovered that PBS documentaries are on there. I typed PBS into the search function and they have so many things from PBS. This is just some of the things from PBS they have but I was sitting here scrolling through all of this and it goes on forever. I never reached the end of the results. I‘m glad I discovered this because I love PBS. PBS has a Roku app too. My mom cut off the cable so I can only stream PBS now.
pickThis was utter perfection. I absolutely adored the conversations between Nimoy and Spock. I love that Spock was almost this alter ego he could talk to in his head about all sorts of things. I don‘t know about everyone else, but as far as I‘m concerned, it‘s not possible to think of Spock without thinking of Nimoy. Through Spock, Nimoy will live forever. What a beautiful human being. What a beautiful book.

pickSooooo….. don‘t finish this book while working… I answer phones all day and had to force myself to stop crying every single time…. Such a great life. Such a great audiobook
I don‘t know about anyone else, but the first thing I think of when I hear Spock, is Nimoy as Spock. All other actors who play Spock are held up against Nimoy as the ideal. Nimoy will live forever through Spock, and that‘s pretty awesome.

I‘m feeling very much led in this direction this afternoon. I got quite a laugh out of the mental image of Spock as midwife by @Bookwomble . I don‘t think I‘ll be getting that out of my head anytime soon. Also, I have never been more excited for a book read by the author… sorry Wil.
