Another meeting of #The2030SomethingBookClub in the archives! Most everyone really enjoyed the tagged book for today. I‘m so happy I listened to the audiobook—the narrator is excellent and draws the emotions out better. Very funny book that had a few members crying by the end. We‘re all getting tired of these Zoom meetings though *sighs*—been doing them on Zoom since March of last year. 😕

smalldogs_bigbooks2419 I‘m less than 100 pages from the end of this book. I‘ve enjoyed a lot of it, but I‘m feeling quite bored with it now. I‘m too close to the end to bail on it, but I wish I had that “can‘t put it down, gonna be so sad when it‘s over” sort of feeling. 3y

smalldogs_bigbooks2419 @MrBook I loved a line from one of the first pages in the book. Something about how a hearts are like bars of soap. I don‘t remember it exactly now, but I liked it enough to share it with my husband (who didn‘t get it at all) as well as here. It‘s on my profile as something I shared somewhat recently, if you‘re interested finding the exact line I‘m talking about. 3y
