It is super gory, dark and violent. There is one small part where animal cruelty was committed by one of the characters. It is like sci-fi horror. I think is YA. It is better if you go blind. If you liked those old movies like Alien where a strange creatures are inside of people you will like this one. Like most of horror movies, unreal but I liked it🤷🏽‍♀️I like the way characters were described. It was also sad.3.9/4⭐️As a YA horror story

I don‘t know about this one. Sometimes I felt lost in the dialogues. I like the illustrations but don‘t love them. But they complied the purpose, they are dark and extremely gory illustrations 🩸. I will like to re-read it and maybe try volume 2 because there parts that I liked. I received this graphic novel last year by @BookwormAHN in #Elfswap Thsnk you🤗🧛🏼‍♀️🖤🖤🖤

BookwormAHN Your welcome and I agree the book was weird but I liked the overly ridiculous illustrations. 2y

I enjoyed this book and all the paranormal adventure. Manu‘s eyes are different but she doesn‘t know anything about her nature until something happened to her mother and she has to discover her family history almost by her own. Very excited to read the second one. This author came to PR a couple of years ago during her first book presentation. 3.8⭐️

I was surprised by this book. It about a haunted house and spirit possession. But I think is better not to know much to see the twists. It is a low to mild YA horror novel. I enjoyed it. Fast pace reading. 3.4⭐️

I am not the target audience for this middle grade book but it was cute. Rosie is a girl who is going to discover that she is as her mother a witch hunter and will have to face the Memory Thief Witch. How Rosie receives this news, from whom, why she has to face this witch and who is going to help her in this adventure are the stories you will read in the book. I will like to know if the target audience like the book. 3.5⭐️2nd book comes next April

This was like a fairytale story. A curse to a woman and all her descendants for “betraying” the love of a man. The story goes in two time lines. I liked the relationship between sister and brother but it is a slow pace read in some parts. 2.9/3⭐️But I own the other two books🤷🏽‍♀️

Witches display their magic depend on the season they born. Everwitches have the magic in the four seasons. But their power is so strong that can kill those connected to them if they cannot control the magic. This is the story of Clara who has decided that she doesn‘t want to be an ever witch. Is she going to be stripped (exhaust her magic) during next eclipse or not? It was ok with some YA cheesy romance but I enjoyed it. I‘m in fall mood 3.4⭐️

I enjoyed so much this book. I will like to know if the rituals mentioned in the books are the way some persons practice them, because I have heard different variations of this celebration. But the idea is so lovely. I loved that end, the acceptance and support of Yadriel‘s father. Julian is so funny a little bit emotional☺️and Maritza so lovely. At the of the audio, the author said is thinking to write a sequel from Julian‘s perspective. 3.4⭐️

Gissy @Chrissyreadit I‘m using the candle🕯you sent me. It smells so good.

Gissy @TheNeverendingTBR The candle was a gift from @Chrissyreadit Every year I try to buy some new Halloween items and most of them after Halloween day to add to my collection. The mask was from last year in a drugstore I visited just by chance for a first time. It was on sale and I love it.

This book was something different to what I expected. It is dark, gory and violent. I analyzed it from a mental health perspective and it was so sad😢dysfunctional family, lack of tx., refuse of meds, low self esteem, no social support, rejection because he was gay, and almost a rape were the factors present in one of the characters who became violent. Those phrases in his diary were devastate. But it has an end with hope. I love Allister. 3.5⭐️

A sanatorium was built for tb pts by Mr. Dare. Closed in 1952 with one of Mr. Dare‘s daughters as tb victim. Place was renovated as a temporary retirement for writers and artists. In present time, Penelope, decides to retire and chose Eleonor as director of this place but something happened to her & things started to happen to Eleanor and to the group that was visiting Cliffside. Are all these things connected?A ghost/mild creepy story 3.8⭐️

Gissy I liked this story even when it has some cheesy expected scenes. It was like seeing an old ghost/evil possession movie. I think it would be a good adaptation movie. This is one of my #2021goals reas books that have been in my tbr forever. This box was received on October 2017😲
