#WeirdWordWednesday @CBee
This was one that I came across and had to look up just for the pronunciation 🤔 A bit of a tongue twister!

dabbe Agreed! Try to say that one fast 10 times through! 😂 1mo
CBee @dabbe I‘m having trouble saying it once 😂 1mo

CBee Nice! I always heard it said “pablum” in reference to baby food - maybe sort of a rice cereal? My boys never liked it 😂 1mo
lil1inblue @CBee I guess Pablum was a brand name for baby cereal, and the name was based on this word! Kinda interesting! 1mo
CBee @lil1inblue very! 1mo

Mellifluous is also a pleasant word to say! I love that the Latin translates almost literally to 'flows like honey' 🍯

Pronounced TUR-Shuh in Irish or TOOR-shuh in Scottish I think many of us are experiencing this in a deep way.

The antidote is to find joy, gratitude, etc.

My daughter sent me this link today and it was the perfect antidote. President Obama telling the story of one woman‘s voice energizing him, a room and a movement. Fire it up! Ready to go!

Deblovestoread Shout out to Edith Childs who was the woman who started it! 4mo
TheBookHippie My grandson 11 asked me what to yell so people would yell back - So he hollered at the top of his voice “ TELL ME WHAT DEMOCRACY LOOKS LIKE” in a crowd of 3000 plus people the 200 closest to us replied “THIS IS WHAT DEMOCRACY LOOKS LIKE.” A lady who was 92 in a wheelchair later stopped us to say she now had hope, because it was a child‘s voice and adults answered him. Yes I cried. I was a puddle. 4mo

You know how the days just run away from you in a week? Too busy baking for my markets. Well, I found 123 words in #WinterGames24 #WordSearch Total points of 1,230 #HolidayBookDragons @StayCurious

5feet.of.fury Same. I forgot about it until today & I had a lot of errands so I found as many as I could while my hair dye was processing 😂 8mo

JenlovesJT47 I have a question. I hadn‘t been doing the word search yet but I went back last night through all of the books I read this month so far and did the word search. What would be the best way for me to post my points? I don‘t want to have to make a post for each book as it would take forever 😆 7mo
LiseWorks Lol make a list woth points and post it 7mo

It‘s #WeirdWordWednesday I‘m sharing the cover of the final book in a trilogy today. I‘ve previously shared the covers of the first two books, because the titles are all #WeirdWords, which I hope you all have enjoyed.

CBee I‘m very much enjoying your word choices! 😊 13mo
CatLass007 @CBee If I hadn‘t just happened upon this trilogy searching for something else, I doubt I‘d have anything to post. But I just love the way the covers are designed and the marvelous words that the author chose as his book titles. 13mo

#WeirdWordsWednesday This picture is the cover of a book I haven‘t read. It‘s actually the second book in a trilogy that I haven‘t read. But I really like the covers and the books sound interesting.

CBee I really like this word! 13mo

I don‘t have the book yet but I thought it would be fun to share the cover for #WeirdWordsWednesday.

CBee Oooo, this is a word I‘ve never heard of and didn‘t know existed - thank you 😊👍🏻 (edited) 14mo
CatLass007 @CBee You‘re welcome. It‘s the first book in a trilogy and if I get a chance to listen to this one and I like it, I‘ll make sure to tag you on those when I listen to them. 14mo
CBee @CatLass007 that would be great! Thank you! 14mo
Bookwomble The first time I came across this word was in a short story which had a vicious dog coming for the MC, and it described their fear of the approaching animal's "mordacious proprinquity", and it's a phrase I've never forgotten and, though rarely, have used! 13mo
CatLass007 @Bookwomble Mordacious AND propinquity in the same sentence?! Excellent!😂 13mo
