1. It depends on how serious the infraction is. Cold-blooded murder? I don't know. Yet I certainly don't want to be the judge or jury.

Whyyyyy did it take me so long to read this? I blame the holiday blues. I‘ll admit that I got a little angry at the ending, because it felt unfinished and just not “right” somehow. Then I realized that Louise just threw a cliffhanger in there 😂 I‘m so confused 😂 #readyourkindle
I could live without all the fat-shaming. 🙄
#10 in the Chief Inspector Gamache series had me laughing like the others but also crying hard. Crying hard over a duck at that (#iykyk)! The main plot would have seemed inconceivable to me 10 years ago. However, after seeing blatant corruption in the highest levels of our government embraced in the real world, it feels sadly plausible. Another great read by Penny—entertainment with heart that makes you think. 👩🍳💋
My favorite in the series so far, and Three Pines was barely in it! Chief inspector Gamache and his wife are celebrating their anniversary at Manoir Bellechasse, just over the mountain range from Three Pines. Yearly visitors, this visit coincides with the Morrow family reunion, including the Gamache‘s friends from Three Pines, Peter and Clara. The last book hinted at Peter‘s dark side. When a Morrow is killed, is Peter to blame or another ⬇️

My next audiobook trying to squeeze in one more for #Canada #foodandlit and #serieslove @Catsandbooks @TheSpineView
Also #20in4readathon @Andrew65
Already dropped my son off at work and been to the grocery store. Now settling in for a breakfast break. (Breakfast break might last until lunch.)
So today was weird- my daughter and I had the day off but my son had a day of virtual school and painters were here sanding and painting my doors. So I was holed up in my room reading the new Louise Penny and partaking in the #ComfortReadathon when not my cat jumped up on my bed! He had sweet talked the painters into letting him in, ate all my cats‘ food, and then was going to sleep in my bed 😂😂😂
I got one last Gamache re-read in before I dive into Grey Wolf. This is the last one before the 💩really hits the fan. The ending still shocks me to this day. #FoodAndLit #Canada
