Mehso-so

This was a quick read. I still don't understand everything that happened and I don't think the romance was working too well. I don't think I will be continuing with this series. Thank you @Gaylagal2 for sending this in my #basicwitchswap

Started this one last night and now it is my escape from a not so great work day. Setting is Charleston, SC which is very close to where my family is. Have to admit that i'm a little homesick right now😏

I LOVE a children's book with an unconventional reading style! Robin is a typical kid, driving his parents up the wall with his tricks, until he gets his own space to use as he chooses. Great illustrations and a heartwarming story. #BBRC #LetterR

This was my #LetterR for #LitsyAtoZ in translation. I‘m quite enjoying this series, though there is some weird sexist stuff at times. The mysteries are interesting and the characters are hilarious.

Pickpick

Set in 2199, this sees the eastern Pacific theater as we know it collapse. Neo Seoul has become a major military state where all youth seek glory through military service. Jaewon is a star pupil and finds himself working on a secret gov't project about a supersoldier. But all is not what it seems and Jaewon begins to question a regime which is more concerned with churning out soldiers for the never-ending war than they are with the citizens.

Calling it an early night- met my goal for 12 hours and finished Radium Girls. Really got into Book of Life and did some audio cleaning to Rebecca. Thanks all! #24B4Monday #letterR

Very interesting story. I certainly learned a lot about Jim Jones. I like how Jeff Guin gives so much family background in his books. I was surprised to learn ways in which Jim Jones promoted integration (even though he could have done better). #MountTBR #LitsyAtoZ #LetterR

Looking for something light while simultaneously fulfilling another goal in my #litsyatozchallenge This book‘s cover also reminds me for some reason of some of the teen novels I used to read back in the day. #letterr
