I got into audiobooks in 2013 when I took an epic road trip over the summer and got tired of listening to music. Here‘s my #top10ofthedecade #audiobookedition. Though I didn‘t include it, I‘d say Harry Potter was my gateway drug.

I‘ve spent a week at least thinking about my choices for #top10ofthedecade. Not easy! But here are my choices for the #audiobookedition

So the library would only let me go back two years in checkouts 👎🏻👎🏻, so it only gets five spots, to make an even 20. I listened to so many good ones in 2016 and 2017 that I‘m sorry I don‘t have a record of those.

I started listening to audiobooks three years ago when I gained a commute. This is the best I could narrow down the 371 titles that have joined my #audible library in those years!

And yes, The Nix is the top and absolutely worth 21 hours!!

1) HP books are the best audiobooks, but I‘m not sure if I listened to them before or after 2010 & didn‘t want to include re-reads.
2) I forgot about Killers of the Flower Moon & would have replaced When Breath Becomes Air with it on my NF list. On audio, it‘s a jolt when the narrator changes due to his death.
3) I listened to 9/10 of the Heroes of Olympus series, esp on some long trips, so I included it as a series.
4) I like accents. 👇

I‘m loving these lists, so I‘m adding another #Top10OfTheDecade #AudiobookEdition.

I Loved these on audiobook and enjoyed them, most read by the author, more than I think I ever would have just by reading them.

Sometimes hearing someone tell their story in their own voice, it just so powerful.
