pickI really enjoyed this one. It was a fun breezy thriller that was perfect to read while on vacation, especially when I was sitting on the beach 🏖.
The twists weren‘t that hard to figure out, but that did not take away from the fun. 👍🏻for me.

pickWell it only took me a few days, most of this I read while sitting on the beach soaking up the sun. As always I was not disappointed. This was the last book written by L. frank Baum, just 3 months before he passed away. It brought so many of his amazing characters into play. pickA beautifully written middle grades novel full of mystery, suspense, and emotion. I love the use of dream sequences to weave together the two story lines and create suspense. The book covers several themes related to belonging that readers will relate to: being a third wheel, not fitting in your family, etc. This is a great summer read. #aswirlofocean #beachbook #middlegradelit #kidlit
so-soWhile I didn't like this book as much as the first one, Princess of Mars, It was still a great read. At times I had chills and admittedly, cried once or twice. There was definitely more lulls in the action in this book but I enjoyed the intermingling of the Martian's mythology and the surprise of several new cultures. While it wasn‘t my favorite I still cant wait to read the next book! #beachbook #vacationread
