This was my #bookgiftedtome for #booked2019 and also an entry for my #readthecandidates challenge. I actually really enjoyed this. Joe Biden shows his humanity in this story of a terribly difficult time in his life with the loss of his son.i see the appeal of Joe Biden when I see this side of him. It was terribly sad at parts but yet ended on a hopeful note. Was on the fence about this one but glad I listened to it.

Thank you @Robothugs this book was fantastic! Set in an arts college, there‘s everything here. Love, affection, scorn, jealousy, fury & death. The seven 4th yr theatre students are family, living & loving one another. Until the “leading man” of the group has his confidence shaken & things spiral toward a tragic conclusion. I loved this book. Set in post war England, it‘s an character study that really has a great story. I won‘t give too much away but there are lots of family secrets in this one. Excellent book club pic. #booked2019 #summer #bookgiftedtome
