August has been a fantastic reading month for me. With the #HSreadathon running all month, then the #24in48 plus #SummersEndReadathon & #24B4Monday it‘s been a bounty of reading! All up I‘ve completed 27(there‘s an audiobook of A Discovery Of Witches I forgot to add)& 1 started book(Darkdawn). Choosing a fave is tough, it‘s a tossup between The Dakota Winters, If We Were Villians, To Be Taught If Fortunate & The Woman In Black. #AugustWrapUp

I was trying to hold off on reading this till I got the Hangover Kit from Faecrate, but it‘s calling me. “Read meeee, read meee!” Should this be my last book of August or should I wait? What do you think? #HSreadathon

It‘s Midnight Friday so it‘s officially the end of my #SummersEndReadathon🎉 I‘ve read 8 books, 2,535 pages & managed 70.5hrs!! My favourite read was To Be Taught, If Fortunate by Becky Chambers, which was also my shortest book, my longest book was The Woman In Black. My longest lap according to my stopwatch was for 7:27:43 & the shortest was 39:34 I‘ve had a blast this past week & hope we do it again soon! #SummersEndReadathon #HSreadathon

Christopher_Tallon I need to read The Deep. Nick Cutter is great. 3mo

Planning on finishing out the #SummersEndReadathon with this non fiction about the murder of an accountant & three CBS employees in NYC in 1982. Let‘s see if I can finish it before midnight! How‘s everyone else doing? #HSreadathon

Well. That was deeply unsettling. Get it.😉Not for the faint hearted, the claustrophobic or the weak of stomach, especially if detailed descriptions of maggots, mutations & multiple eyeballs opening up on faces disturb you! Luke is sent down to a deep water lab in the Mariana Trench after all contact with it goes dark. What‘s waiting is far worse than the disease his brother was trying to cure. #SummersEndReadathon #HSreadathon #MountTBR2019

Woohooo! I‘ve hit the 60hr mark with just over 3hrs till it hits midnight Thursday/Friday in Sydney. It is over then right, not 11.59pm Friday? Or have I got it wrong again🤦🏻‍♀️Still, 60hrs & 7.5 books is pretty good in a week. And I started late too, didn‘t start reading till 7pm Friday night. How‘s everyone else doing? #SummersEndReadathon #HSreadathon

This is already pretty disturbing at 100 pages in. I‘m just at the point where Luke & Al reach the Trieste. I‘m cruising along in the #SummersEndReadathon & #HSreadathon I‘m almost at 60hrs!🙌 How‘s everyone else traveling? Which book are you reading now?

LeeRHarry You‘re a reading beast Liz!😊 4mo
tessavi Don't know anything about this but your photo made me stack it! For when my TBR pile burns down or something 😅 4mo
cherinium I recently got a copy of this from Thriftbooks. A former coworker had told me this was the most terrifying book she had ever read, and she's a big horror fan. Of course that piqued my interest. I've yet to crack it open, but look forward to seeing if it is as frightening as she says. 4mo

With a last minute vote pulling it over the finish line, my 8th book of the #SummersEndReadathon & the 26th book of the #HSreadathon is a novel described as terrifying, chilling & “scary as f**k”. And I‘m sitting alone, in my library at 3.30am in the morning.😳 Thanks guys.

Clwojick 😂😂😂😂😂😂 The honest reason as to why I have a samurai sword under my bed. I read too many scary books when the hubby is out of town. 4mo

What a fun book! I can‘t believe I‘d never heard of it till now, though I was in my twenties when it was published. 16 people are summoned to the house of millionaire Samuel Westing for the reading of his will. Instead, they‘re divided into teams, given clues & told to find the answer to who killed him, the winner being named sole heir. Loved every minute of it! #SummersEndReadathon #HSreadathon #Pop19 #RevolvingAroundAPuzzleOrGame

LibrarianRyan yeah. I loved this book. I didn't read it until i was an adult either. It packs a big punch for such a little book. 4mo
