#MarchIntoThe70s #Day22 #BridgeOverTroubledWater A day late but not a dollar short! This is one of my favorite ballads from the 70s, it‘s definitely a heart-tugger.The irony of this song though, is that the two men singing it were troubled waters themselves. From the start they had a rocky relationship, full of mistrust & jealousy, they ended their partnership just as they were gaining success. Both have since had solo careers & reunited for tours.
#BridgeOverTroubledWater | No troubled water here, just Sweet Water (koozie c/o @Callemarie )! Sitting outside, finishing up this book for #90sSpringFling while the boys play and my husband grills. Loving springtime in Tennessee right now! 🍺☀️

(Day 22 - #BridgeOverTroubledWater)
*I don‘t know how many of you are old enough to have seen this movie, but it is the story of British POWs forced by their Japanese captors to build a bridge over the river Kwai to connect Bangkok and Rangoon. Meanwhile, unbeknownst by the British, the Allies have devised a plan to destroy the bridge. It‘s a great movie, adapted from the book by French writer Pierre Boulle.

There‘s a bridge and lots of troubled water....I really liked this book. It‘s not The Book Thief and I think the author probably suffers by that. I thought it was a good read though.
I finished this before bed last night and then saw today‘s prompt is #bridgeovertroubledwater. 🙌🏻🙌🏻
This is the epic story of Lou “Lucy” Lynch growing up in a small NY town and it deals heavily with his relationships with his parents as well as his wife Sarah and childhood friend Bobby. It‘s raw, visceral, and real. Perhaps a bit long, and it drained me. There are a lot of truths that slap you in the face with this one. #marchintothe70s
This graphic novel trilogy is a powerful depiction of the fight for civil rights. A number of years ago I had the opportunity to travel to Selma and cross the Edmund Pettus Bridge. It was an emotional experience. #bridgeovertroubledwater #marchintothe70s

A detailed look into the events surrounding a mother, Amanda Stott Smith, who drove to the middle of the Sellwood bridge in Portland OR and dropped in her 4 yo and 7 yo
#BridgeOverTroubledWater definitely describes my family now, even though we tend to fight we will always be there to hold eachother up #MarchIntoThe70s @Cinfhen @Lizpixie
