Decorated some Halloween cookies last night!

We don't care that we spent the equivalent of a week's worth of groceries buying ourself almost daily treats last month. We're living in a hellscape and life is made bearable by boba, oreos, cheetos, cupcakes, brownies, croissants, parmesan garlic potato chips, ice cream.....
1. Book club winery visit with snacks. If you look closely, you can see me in the background at the counter.
2. Free map of Rohan from the game store.
3. Azaleas next to the side door at church.
4. Double header at the ballpark.
5. The website tomanlorenzo.com has given me joy for many years, especially during Oscars and Met Gala weeks.

Well that was a several-day pain in the .....
I will never make these ribbon cookies again. The only good thing is several of them were, by default, too ugly to gift so I ate enough of them to feel a little sick.
It's not too late to begin holiday baking is it?
Went to town making cookies this year! Chocolate gingerbread and Finnish cardamom (thanks to @Bookwormjillk !) modified to be GF and dairy-free, sugar & spice, snickerdoodles, and no-bakes modified from my great-grandma's recipes to be GF and dairy-free, and sugar cutouts filled with gluten and butter at a decorating station (not pictured).
Did some cookie decorating tonight!!
