🌟🌟I had to finish this one today because I just had to know how it ended. It started off pretty slow and the more the story went on I was super invested but I tell you the ending was such a let down! Like I get the direction she went with this book I just feel like why?? It was just sadness the whole book leading up to someone's happy ending and it got overlooked by the ending just being someone's ending- literally *throws book*

This is my 3rd Carolyn Turgeon Book and from Pg. 1 I already feel like I'm there in the book itself. I really enjoy her writing style! August, books, and a bakery! *sips coffee* I'm in for a treat.

This is way weirder than I thought it was going to be, honestly, but it‘s been in my house for like two years and was the next one in the pile of things I rescued from fiction-weeding and will as a result toss back into the library book sale bin when I‘m done. I‘m overwhelmed with all the extra goodies & quite exited to try the cranberry hand cream, since I 💗the strawberry scented.👇🏼

1. Old Victorian with reading nook and a library
2. Currently I have some herbs and a poinsettia, but I'll kill them at some point this summer
3. I have a print by illustrator Barry Moser and a couple by Ruth Sanderson from one of her picture books
4. Get things done first, then the reading is guilt-free and not distracted
5. Vacuuming
